What About This Fall?

 ;tldr  Does the Bible support lesser judgment in the Spring and greater judgment beginning in the Fall?

A number of prophetic words and dreams have come forth indicating various forms of cataclysm and chaos this fall.  The most notable so far comes in the forms of dreams that came to Dana Coverstone.  But can we find something similar in the Bible?  In fact, there is one passage in particular that seems to mirror the year we've been having in 2020.

Let's take a quick look at Amos 7 and 8.

Amos 7

Judgment #1, Locust Swarms  (Spring*)...God relents

Judgment #2, Conflict by fire...God relents

Vision of the plumb line, Warning of Final Destruction

*Spring

"...that is, locusts. The name may very possibly be derived from their "creeping" simultaneously, in vast multitudes, from the ground, which is the more observable in these creatures, which, when the warmth of spring hatches the eggs, creep forth at once in myriads."
Barnes' Notes

"grasshoppers—rather, "locusts" in the caterpillar state, from a Hebrew root, "to creep forth." In the autumn the eggs are deposited in the earth; in the spring the young come forth [Maurer]."
Jamieson-Fausset-Brown

It was around February and March when we began hearing of locust plagues:
The Biblical locust plagues of 2020

Amos 8

Vision of the basket of summer fruit (ie. ripe harvest, Autumn)

“The end has come upon My people Israel;
...
Many dead bodies everywhere,
They shall be thrown out in silence.”
...
Shall the land not tremble for this,
And everyone mourn who dwells in it?
All of it shall swell like the River,
Heave and subside
Like the River of Egypt.

“And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord GOD,
That I will make the sun go down at noon,
And I will darken the earth in broad daylight;

I will turn your feasts into mourning,
And all your songs into lamentation;
I will bring sackcloth on every waist,
And baldness on every head;
I will make it like mourning for an only son,
And its end like a bitter day.

So, in the spring we have beginning two judgments coming upon His people, which end up not destroying the people, because God relents.  But then, in the Autumn, we have a proclamation of final judgment: "I will not pass by them anymore."  Meaning, God will no longer wink at their sin.  The age of grace has ended.  The nation will be exposed for the harlot she has become and will be devoured by the fire of God's jealousy.

I will not again pass by them any more; wink at their sins, and overlook their transgressions, by not correcting and punishing for them; or will not pardon them, but inflict punishment on them.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?  In March we saw the start of judgment with the covid flu lockdowns and crashing of our economy.  In June we saw the beginning of robbing and plundering, which continues to this day.  Both judgments, lockdowns and plundering, are two themes predicted for God's people many times in the prophets.

Then just 7 or so weeks ago we received more prophetic warnings that great judgments would proceed this fall.  It seems to me that Amos 7 and 8 are a match for 2020.

Does this mean the nation will be destroyed this year?  After much study, I believe what's going to happen is we are going to see God arise this fall and I believe America will be destroyed next spring or summer.

Brace yourselves.  Draw close to the Father.  May we all be found hiding under the shadow of His wings.
