Will the 'Age of America' end in 2016?

This article is asking the question: Is America's economic dominance almost over?  Specifically, in 2016?  The author bases this on an IMF (International Monetary Fund) report stating that in 2016 a shift will happen in the world economy from American dominance to Chinese dominance.

Interesting that the year 2016 was chosen.  Also an interesting way to headline an article.  The 'Age of America'...is it almost over?  The number one question that people google to find my blog is "when will the economic collapse happen?"  This is what people are expecting.  So it's natural to want to know when it will happen.  Maybe we can prepare.

Folks, I have news for you.  Something much worse will happen in 2016.  The 'Age of America' will certainly come to an end.  But not just its economic dominance.  America will be finished as a nation forever.  As in completely gone.  She will be no more...save a few poor souls...and they will eventually be gone as well.

I'm no prophet.  God has never appeared before me as a burning bush.  The sky has never opened up with a voice like many thunders speaking great things.  No one has ever commissioned me to go and speak on God's behalf.  I'm a nobody from a long line of nobodies.  But I know that God uses nobodies.

So how do I know about 2016?  I studied his word.  And I believe his word.  And I can see his word being fulfilled before my very eyes.  His word says his people are not in darkness.  That we should not be taken off guard by the coming thief.  We are expected to know when his judgments begin and where they begin.

In his word are prophesied two Babylons, two desolations of Jerusalem, two periods of 70 years, two restorations of Jerusalem,  two captivities, two restorations of his people to Zion.  Just as it was with ancient Babylon, so it will be with present-day Babylon...America.  Just as ancient Babylon ruled the earth for 70 years, so it will be that present-day Babylon will have ruled the earth for 70 years.  Just as it was that ancient Babylon fell after 70 years, so it will be that America will fall after 70 years...and rise no more...a perpetual desolation.  The first Babylon fell to the Persians; the second Babylon is utterly destroyed forevermore.

Anyone alive in 1946 could have told you that the tribulation would start in 2016.  Had they known God's word, they could have told you.  There's enough information in the Bible to know how it plays out and when it plays out.  They could have also told you that 1967 would see a command to restore Jerusalem.  And that's exactly what the world saw.

I really don't know how much of the IMF report regarding 2016 is just a coincidence.  I suspect there are numerous people in very powerful positions that know what's coming in 2016.  Not because they know the Bible, but because they can see it coming.  You see, the Bible describes the beginning of tribulation (The Day of the Lord) in a very specific way. Certain things will happen to our planet at the start of that period of time.  Those descriptions lend support to the theory of a very large object passing by our planet at the start of that 'day'.  I suspect these men in positions of great power already know when this object will pass our planet...even to the day.  And I suspect their computer models have also told them what part of our planet will be facing the direction of this object as it passes.  I'm assuming that the continent facing that object as it passes will be most vulnerable.  And I can imagine that such an event would wreak havoc on that continents radar defense system.  Possibly even rendering it useless. 

Furthermore, I would imagine that the country which is most vulnerable on that day might be inclined to launch a preemptive attack, as a defensive measure, to ensure it makes it through that day without itself being attacked.  Or maybe to level the playing field.  Or maybe to reset the global balance sheets as a way to deal with their unsustainable debt.

What would you do differently if you realized you only have five years left before America is completely destroyed?  Only those who have placed their trust in God and serve him will be spared in that day.  Repent now, people, while there is still time.  If you are preaching/teaching a message of 'peace' for God's people when tribulation begins, I also implore you to repent before it's too late.
